A free celebration is planned for Thursday in the DMACC Newton Campus Conference Center in honor of Newton Village’s spring expansion.

A meet-and-greet will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m., and a program is planned for 5:45 to 6 p.m. Slip Stream, consisting of members of the former 8 Track Band, will entertain attendees from 6 to 7 p.m., and a cash bar will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. Appetizers also will be available.
