Letter to the Editor: Appreciate community togetherness

Once again on March 29, our community came together to worship and walk with Jesus on Good Friday. The Mission Coalition organized the annual Stations of the Cross experience, progressing along the way between seven of the downtown churches, reading scripture, praying, singing and reflecting on the events of the first· Good Friday.

Mission Coalition would like to recognize the churches that hosted a part of this event: St. Stephen’s Episcopal, First Presbyterian, United Presbyterian, First United Methodist, Congregational United Church of Christ, First Christian and First Lutheran. We would also like to thank those who made the event possible by volunteering their time and who contributed to the event in other ways.

Good Friday 2025 will be on April 18. Mark your calendar now and plan to join us for this meaningful time. All are welcome and encouraged to participate.
