Jasper County E911 Service Board receives $1,000 grant for Loss Control Purchases

Jasper County E911 Service Board has received a $1,000 grant from the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool, the members property and casualty coverage provider.

The ICAP Grant, a special initiative in celebration of the Pool's 30th Anniversary, provides up to $1,000 per member for the purchase of select loss control and/or risk management items. Such items include, but an: not limited to:
• Approved playground surface materials;

• Exit signage;

• Automated External Defibrillators; and

• Fire extinguishers.

Jasper County E911 Service Board submitted an application for the grant in February, and was recently awarded $1,000 from the Pool. The member used the funds to purchase document shredders.
