Pie in the Face

Special education teacher Brandon Sharp, left, and sixth-grade teacher Andrew Cazett got pies in the face at Thursday's Woodrow Wilson Elementary School held an awards assembly. The two students were allowed to "deliver" the pies — Isaac Friedman and Kacey Sommars — were being rewarded for being the school's top Jump Rope for Life donations collectors. (Jason W)

An awards assembly took place at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School on Thursday.  Two students were allowed to "deliver" pies in the faces of special education teacher Brandon Sharp, and sixth-grade teacher Andrew Cazett.

Select academic performers from a recent graing period were allowed to compete in an assembly contest.

Several Woodrow Wilson students were also recognized with praise from staff and applause from students.
