Anderson visits Newton voters

Secretary of State candidate Brad Anderson is greeted during a round table discussion by Newton resident Sue Pierson at Uncle Nancy's on Friday morning. Anderson was the Obama Campaign Iowa State Director in the president's incumbent election, which is how Anderson said he gained an immense appreciation for voters, understanding of voting in Iowa and legal knowledge of the system. He wants to continuing increasing voter turnout and protect eligible Iowans' right to vote. Pierson stopped his round table discussion to thank him for his involvement, commitment to the state and for the timely sacrifice it takes to run for office.
