Remembering 9/11

Students at Aurora Heights Elementary School shared a moment of silence at 8:05 a.m. today to pay tribute to those who fell in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. The ceremony also was used to pay tribute to emergency officials, and teachers and students were encouraged to wear red, white and blue today. Aurora Heights Principal Carol Farver is pictured on the right.
