YMCA hosting dance for middle school students

The Newton YMCA will host its annual middle school Homecoming Dance for seventh and eighth graders in Newton from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. Friday.

During the dance, the YMCA will have a DJ, draw for prizes and play dodgeball. Students are asked to dress casual and wear Cardinal colors in support of Homecoming Week Celebrations.

Admission is $5 per student. A student roster will be at the admission table to ensure only seventh and eighth grade students are attending the dance.

Chaperones are still needed. To volunteer, contact Jessica Lowe, membership director, at (641) 792-4006 or jessica.lowe@newtonymca.org.
