Jasper Conservation Connection is accepting nature photographs for its sixth annual photo contest.
The theme this year is “Hidden Beauty.” Eight photos will be selected by a JCC judging committee and featured on blank greeting cards that will be available for purchase in time for the holidays.
Photos must be taken in Jasper County and can be of wildlife, natural objects, Jasper County parks, people in nature, or other outdoor scenes by emailing the release form and digital photographs to kcantu@co.jasper.ia.us by Monday, Oct. 28. The release form includes signed permission for Jasper Conservation Connection to use the photo and a description of where and when the photo was taken. Individuals may may submit up to four photographs.
Winners will receive a free package of greeting cards and will also be featured in the winter issue of The Jasper County Jewel newsletter and on the Jasper County website.
