Monroe Old Settlers this weekend

As was done for many years to signal the noon hour, the fire siren will sound at noon during Monroe’s Old Settlers celebration this weekend.

Spectators will enjoy bull riding this evening at Madsen Field.

Saturday there will be a Tractor Pull at the high school, water fights, music by Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band The Princemen playing ‘50s and ‘60s R&R north of the fire station, and free pony rides for the kids on the square all Saturday afternoon.
