To the editor:
Last night, my wife and I went to Agnes Patterson Park to see the city’s fireworks display. While there were no ground displays, the aerials were spectacular.
If you go next year, go early, for nearby roads were jammed with cars. Folks had brought folding chairs to sit in front of their cars. We wish we had, for we stopped to see the brilliant multi-explosion aerials high overhead.
To the powers that be at City Hall, we give our thanks. It was a really special way to end Independence Day.
