Long elected to Iowa Association of Business & Industry Board

Jim Long, president of Cline Tool in Newton has been elected to the Board of Directors by the Iowa Association of Business & Industry.

The election occurred as part of the organization’s 110th Annual Convention — the Iowa Taking Care of Business Conference — held recently in Okoboji. His term began Monday.

The Iowa Association of Business and Industry touts itself as the voice of Iowa business. Its mission since its inception in 1903 is to collectively provide value to business and industry on issues impacting Iowa employers.

ABI is currently comprised of more than 1,500 Iowa businesses of all types and sizes employing more than 300,000 Iowans.
