The Newton Water Board will meet at noon Friday at the Newton Water Treatment Plant.
Agenda items include approval of May financials, amending an SRF Loan Agreement for reduced loan interest rate from 3 to 1.75 percent effective June 1, approval of fiscal year 2012-2013 budget amendments and discussion of the water treatment plant distribution report, the Water Treatment Flood Mitigation Project update and collector well.
The July board meeting will be at noon Friday, July 19, in the Newton City Hall Council Chambers.
