Island Breeze from the Youth With A Mission World Impact Tour visited Nelson Manor last week to give residents a taste of what was to come during performances Friday through Sunday night at Berg school. Island Breeze danced and sang a few songs for Nelson Manor residents and also visited other nursing homes in town. Headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., YWAM Campaigns International oversees Impact World Tours on five continents. YWAM Campaigns, also known as Impact World Tour, uses arts and entertainment, including sports, contemporary and cultural dance, X-sports and music to present the Christian gospel. Hundreds of local residents attended the events, and organizers said more than 1,200 people were at Saturday night’s event, which featured skateboarding, breakdancing, music and personal testimonies.
