‘Sundays at Four’ concert at First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church of Newton continues its Sundays at Four concert series on Sunday April 14, at 4 p.m. Sarah Van Waardhuizen, a Central College voice professor and soprano will be giving a recital featuring the many different “Faces of Love.”

In collaboration with Marlys Grimm, piano and Charlee Eekhoff, violin, Van Waardhuizen will be performing Eric Whitacre’s “Hebrew Love Songs,” an inquisitive song cycle diving into the very essence of 21st century art song.  The program will also feature works by Ricky Ian Gordon, Albert Hay Malotte, Scott Alan and William Finn.
