First UMC hosting special Easter service

The youth of First United Methodist Church will provide a special 6:30 a.m. Sunrise Service on Easter morning in the church’s fellowship hall.

Immediately after the Sunrise Service and continuing until 10:30 a.m., an Easter Breakfast will be cooked and served by the youth in the church dining room. A freewill offering will be received for supporting their summer mission trip.

The traditional Easter worship service begins at 8:30 a.m.  The Jubilee Ringers bell choir will play “He’s Risen, Hallelujah.” The Chancel Choir, under the direction of Rachel Faidley, will sing “Go Ye Into All the World.”  There will be a special Easter dramatic reenactment “On the Road to Emmaus.”  Jean Ibbotson will be the organist. Pastor Gary Marzolf will present the Easter message.  The FUMC praise team will lead the 11 a.m. contemporary Easter service, with Pastor Marzolf giving the Easter message.

A nursery will be provided during both worship services. All are welcome to attend.
