Ethan Valtman improved to 4-0 and the Newton boys tennis team won all 11 matches in straight sets during an 11-0 home win over Oskaloosa on Tuesday.
The Cardinals dominated the Indians in Little Hawkeye Conference play at Aurora Heights Park.
Valtman (4-0) won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and then teamed up with Ethan Freese to win 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Freese (3-1) won his No. 4 singles match 6-1, 6-1.

Kaden Marshall (3-1) and Brady Swihart also won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 and No. 6 singles, respectively. Damien Smith claimed a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 5 singles and Ezra Bartell’s win at No. 2 singles was 6-0, 6-2.
Evan Marshall made his season debut at No. 2 doubles and teamed up with Bartell to win 6-1, 6-3.
Smith and Kaden Marshall and Gentry Swarts and Garett Crandall each won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 and No. 4 doubles, respectively.
Noah Tremel and Zane Munger scored a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 5 doubles.
The win improved to Newton to 2-2 in 1-2 in the conference. Oskaloosa fell to 1-2 and 0-2 in the LHC.
