LYNNVILLE — The PCM girls golf team posted its lowest nine-hole score since 2019 and host Lynnville-Sully shot 14 strokes better than any nine-hole score it posted last season during a quadrangular at Diamond Trail Golf Club on Thursday.
PCM’s Brelee Berger’s top-five finish led the Mustangs to second in the team race, while the Hawks posted five career-best scores in fourth.
Pella won the meet with a 187 at the par 36 course. PCM’s 203 was second, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont shot 216 in third and Lynnville-Sully was fourth with a 234.

Pella’s Harper Phillips was the meet medalist with a 42 and Emerson Lee and Moriah Reynolds both shot 48 in a tie for second.
Berger’s career-best 49 tied Pella’s Payton Roose for fourth and Seriah Nolin and Kayla VanderLinden both shot 51s in a tie for seventh.
Nolin’s score was a personal-best by 16 shots and VanderLinden had a career best by 14 strokes.
Gretchen Uitermarkt was ninth for PCM with a 52, Emilyn Davis shot a non-counting 53 and Meredith Chipps tied a career best with a non-counting score of 55.

Brooke Hardeman led Lynnville-Sully and tied her career best with a 58. Jakeira Hay also had a 58 in her varsity debut.
The other two counting scores for the Hawks came from Olivia Beyer and Penelope Robinson, who both shot career-best 59s.
Audrey Kaldenberg’s career-best 60 was a non-counting score and Hannah Parent shot a non-counting 67. Lilly Fuchs shot a career-best 64 to lead the Hawks’ junior varsity group.
