The South Iowa Cedar League featured two state tournament teams, three squads which were ranked in the top 12 all season and four programs which won at least 19 games.
And with only one senior combined on the Lynnville-Sully and Colfax-Mingo rosters, the two Jasper County programs could see a big jump next season.

A big jump for the Hawks could end in the state tournament as L-S was one win shy this season and all six of its losses came against state-ranked teams which qualified for the state tournament.
Junior Kate Harthoorn led the way for L-S with a unanimous first team all-conference selection. She was joined on the all-SICL girls basketball team by sophomore second-teamer Ava Brummel and senior Alaina Roberts and freshman Breah Lowry were the honorable mention picks.
Colfax-Mingo improved its win total by six games this winter. The Tigerhawks had no seniors and the three all-conference representatives were a trio of freshmen.

Headlining the all-SICL squad for the Tigerhawks was second-teamer Isabelle Foglesong. Lydia Hansen and Blain Houseman both were honorable mention picks.
All-conference recognition is based on statistics inside conference play only. The all-SICL girls basketball teams were released after both Montezuma and North Mahaska were defeated in the quarterfinals of the state tournament on Wednesday and Tuesday, respectively.
