Landon Bozarth and Cade Bauer both scored 15 points, the Cardinals connected on seven 3-pointers and the Newton boys basketball team pulled away from a small margin at halftime to down Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday.
The Cardinals led by two at halftime but scored their second straight victory over the Bluejays following a 54-47 non-conference home win.
Newton outscored Bondurant-Farrar 13-9 in the third and won the game despite turning the ball over 17 times.

Bozarth finished with 15 points and eight rebounds and Bauer added 15 points and seven boards to lead the Cardinals. Bauer was 3-of-8 from 3-point range.
Caden Klein tallied eight points, five rebounds and two steals, Isaiah Slaughter scored seven points and Dawson Maki put in five points.
Tyler Thompson collected five rebounds and two steals, Creighton Andrew totaled two rebounds and three assists, Christian Ergenbright delivered three assists and Grant Osby grabbed two boards.
The Cardinals (11-9) shot 45 percent from the floor, made 7-of-23 from 3 and buried 5-of-7 from the foul line.
