Hawk senior chooses Rams over Simpson College

Lynnville-Sully senior Karter Smead signed to play football at Cornell College recently. Joining Smead at his signing (from left) were his brother Gavin, father Scott, mother Sabrina and twin brothers Max and Luke. Karter chose Cornell over Simpson College. "The class situation is unique, and it’s a better fit for me," Karter Smead said. "We take one class for 18 days. That makes it really easy to focus on one class." He plans to major in Business and Kinesiology and will play on the defensive line for the Rams. "It’s really cool to be able to keep playing," Karter Smead said.
