COLFAX — The Colfax-Mingo football team was shut out for the first time this season during a 39-0 home loss to Pleasantville on Friday.
The Tigerhawks fell behind early and never recovered during a Class 1A District 6 contest.
The Trojans led 13-0 after one quarter and outscored the Tigerhawks 20-0 in the second.
Logan Exley led Colfax-Mingo with 36 rushing yards on five carries and grabbed five passes for 53 yards. Isaiah Baucom added 42 yards on nine carries.

Cael Bracewell threw for 65 yards and rushed for 20 in the loss. He also threw a pair of interceptions.
Shane Hostetter hauled in one pass for 12 yards. The Tigerhawks (1-5 overall, 0-3 in the district) gained 90 rushing yards on 36 carries.
Cason Fitch led the C-M defense with seven tackles. Exley added 3.5 tackles, one sack and two tackles for loss, Kaden Dalton snagged an interception and Anthony Camp recovered a fumble.
Pleasantville’s Braylon Bingham threw for 108 yards, two touchdowns and one pick and added 36 yards and a TD on two carries.
The Trojans (3-3, 1-2) rushed for 150 yards, Caleb Cook ran for 81 yards and scored two TDs and Yusef Gulley hauled in three passes for 78 yards and two scores.
Pleasantville, which was favored by 51.54 points on bcmoorerankings.com, improved to 4-2 over Colfax-Mingo since 2014.
