PCM soccer ends season with loss to No. 3 Lions

Des Moines Christian eliminates Mustangs with six-goal night

URBANDALE — Grant Dunn scored three goals and dished out a pair of assists for Des Moines Christian and the Class 1A No. 3 Lions ended PCM’s soccer season following a 6-1 win in the 1A Substate 7 semifinals on May 22.

The Lions scored three goals in each half. PCM’s lone goal came in the second half. The Mustangs retired at 4-13.

Samuel Overholt tallied two goals and one assist for Des Moines Christian (10-4), who advanced to the 1A state tournament.
