C-M’s Donahue, Aikin earn hardware in Tigerhawks’ loss to Iowa Valley

Tigerhawks turn in four career-best scores in home dual with Tigers

COLFAX — Charlotte Donahue and Shane Aikin both carded career-best scores and earned hardware during Colfax-Mingo’s golf teams dual with Iowa Valley on Thursday.

The Tigerhawk boys lost to the visiting Tigers 194-214. The C-M girls did not enough golfers for a team score.

Donahue shot a career-best 49 to win medalist honors. Holland Robinette carded a 65.

Three Tigerhawk boys shot career-best rounds. Aikin’s 47 earned runner-up medalist and Cale Duffy and Owen Ament each had career-best scores with a 54 and 55, respectively. Kinser McDermott shot a 58 as the final counting score.

Shane Hostetter (69) and Cavan Magnuson (69) turned in non-counting scores.

Michael Camp shot a 58 to lead the JV golfers.
