NCMP’s Nedder makes it official with UNI swimming

CEDAR FALLS — NCMP standout Hannah Nedder recently signed a National Letter of Intent to swim for the University of Northern Iowa.

Nedder is one of six swimmers and one diver added to the Panthers roster this offseason.

“We are thrilled to have Hannah joining us next year,” UNI swimming and diving head coach Nick Lakin said. “Her development over the past year has been impressive and we believe she has a ton of upside that will be a great addition to our program. She is a wonderful young woman, and we are looking forward to working with her.”

Nedder is a four-time Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union state qualifier in the 100-yard butterfly, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in 2021.

Nedder also competed at state as a member of all three relays. She received academic all-state honors and served as a team captain.
