Baxter wrestling loses twice at home

BAXTER — Baxter’s wrestling team couldn’t keep up with ACGC or Woodward-Granger during a home triangular on Tuesday night.

The Bolts lost 47-24 to ACGC and were defeated 69-9 by Woodward-Granger. Baxter won just two contested matches on the night.

Against ACGC, Ashton Kerwin (126), Curtis Gliem (132), Micah Kearns (220) and Aiden McFadden (285) all won by forfeit. There were two double forfeits in the dual, the Bolts were 0-4 in contested matches and ACGC claimed four forfeits.

The only points scored by Baxter against Woodward-Granger came from Kearns and Brad Matthews (138). Kearns won his match by fall and Matthews claimed a 10-9 decision.
