Newton Police Department

Ricky Lee Wells, 38, of Newton, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 800 block of First Street South on a Poweshiek County warrant for failure to appear for a show cause hearing. He also was cited for driving while suspended and failure to provide proof of financial liability. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

James Michael Fallon, 54, of Newton, was arrested at 12:04 a.m. Sept. 10 at 1715 First Ave. W. on Jasper County warrants for failure to appear for arraignment on charges of possession of controlled substance 2nd offense and burglary 2nd. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

Michael Jace Hesse-Walker, 26, of Newton, was arrested at 11:42 a.m. Sept. 9 on Jasper County warrants for failure to appear for pre-trial conference on charges of driving while barred (two counts), fraudulent use of registration and interference with official acts. He turned himself in at the Newton Police Department and was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

Jonathon James Willemsen, 32, of Newton was arrested at 8:32 a.m. Sept. 19 at 315 W. Third St. N. on a Jasper County warrant for a probation violation on original charge of OWI 2nd.He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
