Friends of the Library to publish cookbook with your favorite recipes

Prairie City Friends of the Library is looking for recipes for the “Prairie City Cooks!” cookbook. Once printed, the cookbooks will be a fundraiser for the new library.

They are looking for all kinds of recipes, from current favorites to something you’re “famous” for, or maybe something from a family member to recipes you remember from childhood. Recipes need to be dropped off or emailed to the library at library@prairiecityiowa.us by April 2. Recipes can also be entered online by contacting the library staff for directions.
