Letter to the Editor: Kudos to the sports editor

No doubt about it, Newton News’s Troy Hyde has been one busy reporter!

This award-winning journalist has kept on the move covering a multitude of sports venues, from swimming and volleyball to track and football, and he has successfully captured your readers with his fine detailed articles and, more especially perhaps, his talent as an action photographer.

He has managed to seize the drive, energy and exuberance displayed by young athletes from throughout Jasper County, knowing exactly when to snatch the winning moment in whatever the competition. Your readers know what a dynamo he is, and I’m sure the management at Newton News realizes what a treasure they have on staff with Troy.

Bravo, Mr. Hyde, and keep up the amazing work!
