Daniel E. Benson, 65, of rural Newton died on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Daniel was the son of Louis and Colleen (Sharp) Benson. The Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the cremation.
