Jay R. Storey

Jay R Storey, of Splendido in Oro Valley Az, passed away December 25th 2024, at the age of 96. He is survived by his wife Patricia, in Oro valley, and his children; Douglas (Elise) in Canyon Lake Tx, and Barbara (Gary) in Durango Co area, and his grandchildren.

Jay was born March 17 1928 in College Springs, Iowa. He graduated high school in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a BS degree in 1950. He then served two years in the United States Army. He married Patricia Claire Hodgen June 24th 1951. He then worked at the Maytag Company in Newton Iowa for his entire career, and served as Vice President of Human Resources for the last 10 years. He retired in 1990 at the age of 62 and moved to Arizona.
