Elaine June Stravers

Elaine June (Wynveen) Stravers, 95, of Chisago City, Minnesota, peacefully passed away at Parmly On The Lake Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Elaine was born in Downs, Kansas on November 10, 1928 to Reverend Benjamin and Henrietta (Scheerhorn) Wynveen.

Elaine will always be remembered for her joyful spirit, her love for family, friends, music and lifelong faithfulness to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband (William) Wayne, brothers Marvin and Bernard.

She is survived by her children Marla Wilcox (Jeff Knowles) and Kenneth (Mary) her grandchildren Amanda Woitas (Kyle) Trevor Wilcox (Mercedes Salas) Nate Stravers (Van Che) and Andy Stravers (Daniela Bloch) along with five great grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be held for Elaine 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024 at at Point Pleasant Heights in Chisago City, Minnesota. A Private burial will be held at Waverly Cemetery in Prairie City, Iowa on a later date. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minnesota.
