Violet Helen Van Maanen

Violet Helen (Roorda) Van Maanen, 89, formerly of Lynnville, Iowa passed away Friday at The Cottages in Pella, Iowa. Violet is survived by her husband,  Walton “Van” Van Maanen,  son, Bryce and Deb Van Maanen, daughter, Brenda and Kevin Van Kooten, all of Lynnville, five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene (Seward) Gates of Pella, and brothers: Gary and Gordon Roorda of Lynnville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:00 am, Lynnville Friends Church, Lynnville, Iowa. Luncheon will follow the funeral service. Interment will be made in Woodland Cemetery, Lynnville, Iowa. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 at the Family Christian Center in Lynnville, Iowa.

Memorials may be  given for the Lynnville Historical Society (Wagaman Mill Museum) or The Gideon’s.
