Dale G. Berg

Dale G. Berg, 79, of Colfax, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, April 10, 2022.   Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colfax.  Burial will take place at McKeever Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm also at the church.  Contributions may be made to the family for future memorial and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

Dale was born August 19th, 1942 in Waukee, IA to Arloe and Marcella (Forrett) Berg. He was united in marriage to Judy Smith on August 24th, 1963 in Colfax. He retired from Titan Tire, Des Moines, IA, after 30 years of employment. 

Dale liked to watch sports on television, along with EWTN (Global Catholic Television Network).  One of his greatest joys was watching his grandchildren play sports. Rain or shine, he would not miss a game or meet. He could be seen along the sidelines, in the stands, or at the finish line cheering them on. 

Dale is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy, sons Eddie (Heather) Berg, Eric (Andrea) Berg, Jeff Berg (Jenny), grandchildren Courtney (Austin) Cocciolone, Shelby (Eric) Semjenow, Logan Berg, Cassidy Berg, Wyatt (Michelle) Robinson, Walker (Jacy) Robinson, Westyn (Shelby) Robinson, great grandchildren, Camden and Caidence Robinson, Arden Cocciolone, Mason Semjenow, sister Marlene (Bob) Sigmund. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edward Berg and Robert Berg.
