Pamela Kay Lammey, 61, of Newton, died Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Newton Health Care Center. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials in Pam’s name can be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton. (Please make checks payable to Whitney Morrison.)
Pam, the daughter of Kenneth and Evelyn (Neal) Anderson, was born April 18, 1960, in Newton. She grew up in Mingo and attended Colfax-Mingo schools. Pam had worked at Goodwill, HIRTA Public Transit and at various cashier positions throughout the years. Pam was an animal lover who loved both her pets and animals in nature. She was an excellent cook, known for making huge meals. She also enjoyed watching CSI shows.
Pam is survived by her children: Paul Lammey of Colfax, Lisa Rupe of Colfax, Whitney Morrison of Kellogg and Haylee Miller of Kellogg; her grandchildren, Troy Snider, Tate Snider, Tanner Snider, Clayton Burns, Daniel Lammey and Mckenzie Lammey, all of Colfax; her great-grandchild, Marcalen Snider of Colfax; her siblings, Peggy Perry and Harold Perry, both of Mingo; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Lammey; daughter, Talia Morrison; and a granddaughter, Mariah Snider.
