OWLS program ‘Prehistoric Tools of Indigenous People of Central Iowa’

Jasper County Conservation Board will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) program Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the Jasper County Armory/Annex Building in Newton. The public is invited to come for 10 a.m. coffee and a presentation given by Steve Miller, an avid outdoor enthusiast from Newton. Steve will talk about prehistoric tools he’s found in Central Iowa and share some of his collection.

The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
