‘What’s in the Night Sky’

Jasper County Conservation Board will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) program beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Jasper County Armory/Annex Building in Newton. The public is invited for coffee and a presentation given by Greg Woolever from the Des Moines Astronomical Society (DMAS). Woolever will give an update from Ashton Observatory and share a few things happening in the night sky to watch for.

The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
