Ryan’s Tire & Auto recently invited the American Legion to hold a cookout at its location on First Avenue as a fundraiser for the Legion. Ryan’s Tire provided the burgers, brats, hotdogs and chips, Mahaska Beverages donated a cooler full of sodas. The Legion along with Sons, Riders and Auxiliary setup, cooked and served the food from 11 a.m. and sold out by 1:15 p.m.
