Lively tunes for 3rd Newton Municipal Band Concert

The Newton Municipal Band is busy preparing for its third concert of the season at 7 p.m. June 27 at the bowl in Maytag Park, and promises to be an exciting one.

Director Jim Beerends has chosen a nice variety of musical pieces sure to help end your day on a high note. Master of Ceremonies Fred Chabot will be on hand to share information about each piece.

Grab some lawn chairs or a blanket, your family members, neighbors and friends and relax and enjoy a piece of Americana, in beautiful Maytag Park.
