Tiny Art Show & Silent Auction

Display your artistic talents and support the library at our Tiny Art Show & Fundraiser Silent Auction! Pick up a 4″x4″ canvas at the library with a $1.00 deposit, and create a mini-masterpiece at home. Return your completed canvas no later than Feb. 12 to have your deposit returned and be included in our Tiny Art Show & Fundraiser Silent Auction. Art will be on display inside the library Feb. 16 - 26. All submitted art will be included in our Fundraiser Silent Auction on Feb. 26, with proceeds going towards funding library projects and programs for all ages. Submissions should be family-friendly. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate!

Introvert Book Club

Want to join a book club but just don’t have the time for a regular meeting? This is the book club for you! Each month there’s a new book selection, but there’s never a meeting. Copies of the book are available at the Information desk. The January book selection is “Shady Hollow” by Juneau Black.

Gory Stories Book Club

Tuesday, Feb. 6, noon

Do you love true crime? Join our monthly Gory Stories Book Club! Bring your lunch and join other true crime addicts to discuss a new book each month and share our favorite books, podcasts, & documentaries! Copies of the book can be picked up at the library information desk. The February book selection is “We Carry Their Bones” by Erin Kimmerle.

Blues Under the Blue Roof

Monday, Feb. 12, 5 p.m.

Del “Saxman” Jones performs at our Blues Under the Blue Roof kick off! Check out a new live blues music performance every month, all winter long! This event is held in the library meeting room and is free to attend. All ages welcome. This concert series is made possible by the South Skunk Blues Society, The Arts Connection, and the Newton Public Library Foundation.
