Berg Middle School principal on leave, district says

The Newton Community School District announced to Cardinal families via email on Oct. 19 that Berg Middle School’s principal, Bret Miller, is on leave. The district will inform parents when there is an update to this situation, and no other information has been or can be provided at this time.

“Currently, there is no date for an expected return,” Newton Superintendent Tom Messinger said in the email. “In order to make sure your questions and concerns get addressed, Mr. Miller’s emails have been forwarded to other administrators at (Berg Middle School) to respond.”
