Newton FFA MQP Reserve Champions

On Friday, Sept. 8, the Newton FFA was named Iowa Reserve Champions in the Milk Quality and Products FFA Career Development Event in Manchester. The team of Wesley McElroy, Colin Cummins, Owen Guldberg and Nathan Hauber competed in six categories of the contest consisting of a team test, general knowledge test, milk defects, real versus imitation and a California mastitis test (CMT). The team was led by McElroy and Cummins in fifth and seventh places respectively.
