Free Pollinator Party event

Celebrate our pollinators, bees, butterflies, bats, and others, during National Pollinator Week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24 at Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge.

You are invited to learn about pollinators by participating in ongoing fun and engaging activities including, pollinator crafts, make and take peat pot with milkweed seeds, pollinator scavenger hunt, a monarch learning display and free pollinator stickers. No registration is required.

Additionally, at 10 a.m., join a guided butterfly walk with a naturalist to view and learn about butterflies. This program is recommended for adults and children ages 10 and older, accompanied by a parent. Registration is requested for this program by contacting nancy_corona@fws.gov or calling 515-994-3400.
