Simon and Garfunkel tribute to perform March 30 at NHS auditorium

Performers pay homage to iconic duo’s long and storied history

Forever Simon & Garfunkel

Forever Simon and Garfunkel by The Everly Set pays homage to one of the best music duos in rock ‘n’ roll history. The tribute show will be performed at 7 p.m. March 30 at the Newton High School Center for Performance as part of the Jasper County Concert Association’s concert series.

Award-winning singer-songwriters Sean Altman and Jack Skuller take the roles of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel in this humorous and charming show filled with soaring energy and — of course — laser-precise harmony. All the while, the two performers take the audience on a historical journey.

In addition to performing the duo’s global dominating hits, Forever Simon & Garfunkel visit the teenage roots of Simon and Garfunkel, their early success as a groovy folk act and eventually the best of Simon’s solo career. The show is a captivating watch and an amazing tribute to the iconic duo.

Audiences will enjoy memorable hits like “Sound of Silence,” “The Boxer,” “Mrs. Robinson,” “Cecelia,” “Fifty Ways to Leave Your Lover” and more.

Tickets are $20 at the door for those who are not already members of the Jasper County Concert Association.
