Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend has announced today another first-class live music lineup for next year’s event at Iowa Speedway.
Following up the momentum from the inaugural race weekend this past summer, the 2023 doubleheader NTT IndyCar Series races will feature performances by Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney on July 22 and Zac Brown Band and Ed Sheeran on July 23 on the Hy-Vee stage in the infield of the Newton racetrack.
Tim McGraw, Gwen Stefani, Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton previously performed at race weekend, before and after each race.
Hy-Vee announced in a press release that ticket renewals for the 2023 Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend will begin on Nov. 21. Fans can register now for an exclusive pre-sale opportunity at www.hyveeindycarweekend.com before tickets go on sale to everyone on Dec. 5.
Randy Edeker, executive director and board chairman of Hy-Vee, said when the company first agreed to hold the event in Newton, they knew they wanted to make it the best and biggest event on the NTT IndyCar Series schedule. This past race weekend at Iowa Speedway was reportedly sold out.
“We made the weekend quite the spectacle in 2022; however, we knew we could top our efforts when planning for 2023, and I think our lineup of concerts shows just that,” Edeker said of the four nationally acclaimed acts. “This is an event you won’t want to miss.”
