Aging Resources of Central Iowa offers assistance to older Iowans

Aging Resources of Central Iowa has added extra staff who will be working strictly in our rural counties. If you are an older or disabled adult and live in Boone County, Dallas County, Jasper County, Madison County, Marion County, Warren County or Story County, our specialists can assist you in accessing services that enable you to remain in your home and be as independent as you can be. Our specialists can answer a specific question about your situation or, if you have multiple needs, they can discuss those and assist you in completing paperwork to get you connected to helpful programs. Although Aging Resources has served these counties for more than 45 years, additional funding from the Iowa Department on Aging now allows us to focus on our rural residents.

Aging Resources is partnering with local medical and social services providers to promote this service and to coordinate resources. Our specialists will be happy to come to your community meetings or gatherings and explain this exciting new program. If you, a family member, or someone you know needs assistance in learning just what is available in your county, call Aging Resources at 515-255-1310. You will be connected to a trained, yet compassionate specialist who will listen to you and help you discover all your options.
