RVTV lands in Monroe

WHO 13 TV’s RVTV is welcomed to the PCM communities with fanfare

The RVTV crew, including WHO 13 Sports Director Keith Murphy, WHO 13 Chief Meteorologist Ed Wilson, Today In Iowa Co-Anchor Andy Fales, WHO 13 Weekend Sports Anchor John Sears, WHO 13 Sports Reporter Mark Freund and “The Iowa Nice Guy” Scott Siepker have arrived in Monroe after stops at each of the schools. Kids were lining the drives waving pom pons and cheering “Go Hawks” and “Go Cyclones” as the guests, in convertibles, drove by.

Fire trucks and ambulance announced their arrival and the big RV joined the parade. RVTV will be set up in the Monroe square with a variety of activities including water fights, PLINKO and inflatables, entertainment with The Patty Richards Country Music Show and Standing Hampton and a variety of food.

Everyone is invited to wear their best and brightest Iowa State Cyclones or Iowa Hawkeyes gear to represent their favorite team. Channel 13 Live News will feature Monroe at the 4, 5, 6 and 10 p.m. airings.
