Kindergarten Roundup at NCS March 4

Newton Christian School will host its Kindergarten Roundup from 8:10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 4 at the school, located at 1710 N. 11th Ave. E. Children who will be 5 years of age by Sept. 15 are eligible for kindergarten.

Newton Christian School is an accredited, interdenominational, private school well regarded for its nurturing environment, which specializes in academic, moral and spiritual development. Newton Christian has small class sizes, with a 12/1 average student-to-teacher ratio. The kindergarten class will attend all five days of the week. The school offers several specials including art, Spanish, music, library, P.E., chapel, field trips and integrates the use of technology at all grade levels.

Parents who intend to send their child to roundup are encouraged to attend an informational meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the school. There will also be a parent informational meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the Preschool location at 1711 N. 13th Ave. E. for those interested in Preschool.
