MercyOne Newton Auxiliary scholarships

MercyOne Newton Medical Center Auxiliary has been offering scholarships to local residents since the late 1950s. Throughout the years, the number of scholarships offered has increased proportionately to the generosity of donors and funds raised by the MercyOne Newton Auxiliary in its gift shop at the hospital.

MercyOne Newton Auxiliary scholarships are available for Jasper County residents who are pursuing an education in a health-related field. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic achievement along with other factors. Scholarship applications are available at area high school guidance offices and college financial aid offices.

Applications must be received by MercyOne Newton Medical Center by March 31 to be considered for a scholarship. Applicants are responsible for ensuring their application and all supporting documents are submitted by the deadline.
