Colfax library closed out successful summer programming

The Colfax Public Library completed another successful summer reading program. The “Find Your Voice” themed reading incentive program had 91 children and 22 adult participants during the months of June and July. Youth participants read more than 386 hours as part of this program. Ten summer reading program events were held at the library and in the community with 177 attendees.

The Colfax Public Library received donations from Georgioz, Casey’s, the Colfax Pool, Howard Street Christian Church, the Colfax Historical Society, the Iowa Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, ISU Extension: Jasper County, Koti Nguyen from Hello Nails, Allison Bartholmey, Dickerson Mechanical and local library board members.
