Zylstra, Bogaards wed

Abby Zylstra and Jared Bogaards were married April 5, 2008, at First Reformed Church in Sully with Pastor Brice Hoyt officiating. Parents of the bride are Mike and Kathy Zylstra of Sully, and parents of the groom are Loren and Cindy Bogaards of Pella.  Maid of honor was Lindsay Zylstra of Sully, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaid was Kendra Bogaards of Davenport, sister of the groom. Personal attendants were Kendra Pothoven of Kellogg, aunt of the bride, and Amanda Van Wyk of Des Moines, cousin of the bride.  Best man was Darren Bogaards of Pella, brother of the groom, and groomsman was Andrew Wyma of Pella, friend of the groom. Ushers were Jake Gurtler of Schererville, Ind., and Joel Zandstra of Lansing, Ill.  Abby is a 2004 graduate of Lynnville-Sully in 2004 and a 2007 Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich. with a degree in Communications. She is currently employed as a publications specialist at Grinnell Mutual. Jared is a 2004 graduate of Pella Christian High School and a 2007 graduate of Calvin College with a business degree. He is currently employed by Nationwide Insurance in Des Moines. They reside in Newton.
